"Our daughter, Emma, has been taking lessons at Asheville Equine Therapy for over two years now and because of Meg, has developed a love of horses and riding. Meg is the perfect balance of structure and enormous patience. Her encouragement and persistence has given Emma much needed confidence in and outside the ring while challenging her physically, intellectually and emotionally. Emma surprisingly wants to do the hard work and is learning more than we ever thought she would and it has become her first true hobby at 22 years old. "Riding at AET has been the absolute epitome of the equine experience I wished for my daughter. From grooming and tacking, to technique and bonding, I have been blown away by the attention to detail that Meg and her team of volunteers make possible for her students. My 9-year-old participated in her Equine Assisted Art and Riding Camp this summer, which incorporated equine assisted art and games with the above listed skills.
